Business Realm

Businesses need to feel comfortable and safe in their surroundings to have the best chance of survival and success. 

The Business Realm project aims to improve the appearance and security of  targeted business areas within the Ashfield, Mansfield and Bolsover areas.   Around 20 business areas have been identified by an intensive consultation process and, dependent on individual requirements, will be subject to:

• Street lighting improvements

• Signage improvements

• New and improved fencing

• Tree and verge improvements

CCTV systems installation

• In total the Business Realm project has at its disposal nearly £1/2 million of capital funding over three years,  including £100,000.00  from an Alliance SSP fund.  The aim is to draw in additional funding from other sources for future years to increase investment in the target areas.
