Easy-in/Easy-out ‘Incubation’ Centres Offices and workshops for small and start-up businesses

One of the biggest problems that a new or small business can face is finding a suitable place to work that doesn’t cost the earth and doesn’t tie it up in a long term lease

Many people start out in business by working from home, but for some, this is difficult because of lack of space and facilities To help and encourage these people to ‘go for it’, the Alliance is funding a network of fully equipped incubation centres.

These offer desk space for between one and five people, together with other facilities which may include a PC, phone, broadband connection and access to photocopying, as well as shared meeting rooms and kitchen facilities.

There are currently nine centres available across the area and the latest to be approved for funding will provide much-in-demand small workshop units at the Shireoaks Enterprise Centre on the Bellamy Road Estate in Mansfield.
