Betty Gets Some Precious Help
Mansfield based artist Betty Ching produces stunning pieces of hand crafted jewellery. Inspired by human movement and nature. she produces her pieces at her workshop on Westgate in Mansfield.
Betty’s jewellery designs are ultra-feminine, combining dazzling Swarovski crystal, elegant fresh water pearls and semi-precious stones, all intricately connected with delicate filaments of findings. They will appeal to style conscious individuals who want accessories with a WOW factor.

LEO Business Adviser John Leaver has been working with Betty for the past 18 months to help her develop business model and marketing activities. “We are currently working to establish a franchise system to widen her commercial exposure and we hope to launch this later this spring” said John.
“As well as her bespoke and handmade collections, Betty has recently ventured into producing jewellery kits that will inspire even the most uncreative of people to have a go. She also plans to start running workshops later in the year.”
“I was first introduced to John by Carmell Regan from Business Link” said Betty “His extensive knowledge of the retail trade and marketing has been invaluable in helping me grow the business. It’s very rare to get this level of support and understanding.” Recently accepted onto Nottinghamshire Creative 2009, a scheme to support artists and makers from across the county, Betty Ching will be exhibiting at Rufford Craft Centre, Rufford Abbey Country Park from May 11 to June 8 2009.
