The Future’s Brighter
After seven years working in double glazing, fascia and soffit installations, Barry Lee of Bull Farm, Mansfield felt there was a gap in the market for a business in this industry that offered high levels of customer care and real value for money.
With the help of his local Bizfizz coach Suzy Rai, Barry was able to put together a structured business plan and submit an application for Prince’s Trust funding. Just four months after the first meeting with Suzy, Barry launched his business – Bright White Home Improvements – offering a full range of home improvement services from replacement windows and doors to fitting kitchens and bathrooms.
His business loan and startup grant were confirmed by the Prince’s Trust and BizFizz also helped with money for marketing materials.

“I am thrilled,” said Barry. “Without the help of Suzy I would never have completed my business plan and would not have known about the funding from the Prince’s Trust to get me started. “I can now start to build a future for my family and the future’s looking bright.”
