LEO Moves Ahead

A resounding roar of relief was heard across the local business community earlier this year, as Local Enterprise Organisation (LEO) secured further Government funding to deliver its services in Ashfield and Mansfield for the next two years and in Bolsover for an additional year.

Although LEO has had to end its support to existing businesses, its Enterprise Coaching services are stronger than ever, as its team of six Enterprise Coaches explore new ways to provide a valuable service to anyone considering a new business or self-employment.

Enterprise Coaching is the support service designed to help individuals from all walks of life to identify and harness their potential in starting up a business of their own.  It’s a free service that people of all ages can take advantage of if they would like to explore whether or not they could be self-employed, or if they would like help in moving forward with a business idea.

As LEO moves into this new phase in the Ashfield, Bolsover and Mansfield districts, there is much to be excited about.  Its new info-based website, due to launch in October, will showcase new services such as regular and frequent Enterprise Clubs across the districts and Enterprise Workshops.

The forthcoming arrival of its social media presence - Facebook, Twitter and Blogger - will ensure that LEO is leading by example in embracing the latest technology to promote its services, share information and develop a community of enterprising and entrepreneurial individuals of all ages in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
