Diane Scoops New Kindle

Enterprise Coach, Adrian Williamson, was delighted to present client and local businesswoman, Diane Stubbs, with a brand new Kindle in March - her prize in a draw held by LEO on its Facebook page earlier this year.

The LEO team is currently developing its Facebook and Twitter presence as a means to share news of its services, events and workshops within local communities. The prize draw gave its number of 'fans' on Facebook and followers on Twitter an initial kick-start to get it off to a flying start.

Winner, Diane has recently started her new business, Tips to Toes, in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, offering quality, affordable nail and beauty treatments.

“I set up at the same time as my friend Sarah, who runs the coffee bookshop below me - ‘Pageturners’ - I rent my rooms from her.” said Diane. “We both went to LEO together and found our coach, Adrian, very helpful. He gave us both lots of useful advice about setting up, business planning, who to contact and that kind of thing.”

Diane got her business off to a great start financially too – winning a grant in a local ‘Dragon’s Den’ style competition run by Ashfield Fair Share.

“Business is going very well,” continued Diane. “I’m doing eight hours per day quite solidly now, Working with the coffee shop is great too – we’re both helping each other with recommendations, and both doing nicely.”
