LEO on the Look-out for Board Members
LEO - the Local Enterprise Organisation which provides coaching and support for local people looking to set up their own business - is on the hunt for new board members and charity trustees.
Offering its services to Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire would-be entrepreneurs, LEO is a limited company and is currently applying to the Charity Commission to register as a charity. This means it wishes to increase the number of board members/charity trustees to six, and is looking for up to three individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas: legal, finance, accounting, HR, H&S, corporate, small business or social enterprise.
Board members are also company members and serve until they choose to retire, although board members are encouraged to review whether they wish to continue as a trustee every two years. The positions are voluntary and not remunerated.
Meetings take place in Ashfield, Bolsover and Mansfield, quarterly and are usually held after normal working hours, 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
For more details about LEO (Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire), explore our

or call John Hudson, Programme Director on 07778 068364.
Anyone interested in applying is asked to email a 2 page CV and short summary of why they are interested to j.hudson@leobusiness.org
